| "Onyx" by Joel Brajkovich. Used with permission. |
With some commissions done and over with, I thought it was time to put some of the lessons I'd learned over the last few years to use. I still wanted a gargoyle, but I no longer wanted to use a copyrighted character like Brooklyn. So I started on Onyx. The basic concept was simple: Brooklyn, only dark grey and black instead of red. Not very different, I admit, but I knew I would make changes as I went, and in fact I did.
